A Multimedia Training on Feature Writing was conducted on February 21, 2026, at the VM AIC Headquarters in Brgy. Sto. Cristo, Pulilan, as part of the continuing media development program led by Vice Mayor Atty. Imee DJ. Cruz and facilitated by Frames Per Second Media.

The session featured Mr. Mon Karlo Mangaran of De La Salle University as the resource speaker, focusing entirely on the fundamentals and techniques of feature writing.

The discussion centered on how to develop compelling stories, identify strong angles, and write with clarity and purpose. Participants were guided on how feature writing differs from straight news, emphasizing storytelling, depth, and human interest.

Mr. Mangaran also highlighted the importance of observation, proper structuring, and the use of descriptive details to make stories more engaging. He explained how writers can connect with readers by presenting real-life experiences in a relatable and meaningful way.

Through guided exercises, students practiced organizing their ideas and writing short feature pieces based on given topics. The session aimed to strengthen their writing skills and help them become more confident in expressing stories through words.

The training focused solely on enhancing participants’ ability in feature writing, adding another essential skill to their growing background in multimedia and storytelling.
