FPS Media PH launches Pulilan News Hub website to train young journalists

PULILAN, Bulacan — FPS Media PH launched the Pulilan News Hub website, a community-based digital news platform designed to provide local information while giving aspiring campus journalists hands-on experience in journalism and media production.
The initiative initially involves 15 student volunteers from Salin-Lente: Pulilan Film Society, who are given opportunities to apply their skills through actual news gathering, writing, photography, multimedia production, and publication for the local community.
The participating students are supported by Pulilan Vice Mayor Atty. Imee Cruz, who sponsors their continuing media training. The training sessions are provided by FPS Media PH and focus on developing practical skills and responsible practices in journalism and multimedia production.
Through Pulilan News Hub, the students can put their training into practice by producing community-focused stories and other public-interest content while gaining experience in an actual digital publishing environment.
The project combines community journalism, youth development, and hands-on media training, providing young Pulileño journalists with a platform where they can continuously develop their skills while contributing useful information to their community.
