FPS Media PH Passes “What’s News” to Young Salin-Lente Journalists

PULILAN, Bulacan — FPS Media PH continued its Multimedia Training for members of Salin-Lente: Pulilan Film Society, providing students with hands-on experience in news writing, live reporting, and digital production.

As part of the training, FPS Media PH introduced the students to “What’s News,” its previous livestream news program, which is now being passed on to Salin-Lente for the young journalists to continue and develop.

The students experienced an actual live news production, with Eury Peralta and Jasmine Asuncion Bactol serving as news anchors and Karole Louise Adriano handling the livestream switching. The program featured selected local stories published on Pulilan News Hub.

Through the initiative, FPS Media PH is not only providing training and access to actual production equipment but also passing on a platform where students can practice and strengthen their skills in journalism, broadcasting, and multimedia production.
