FPS Media PH trains Salin-Lente students in practical radio broadcasting

PULILAN, Bulacan — Student members of Salin-Lente: Pulilan Film Society took part in the second phase of their Radio Broadcasting Training, featuring a series of practical exercises designed and facilitated by FPS Media PH.
Held at the headquarters of Pulilan Vice Mayor Atty. Imee Cruz, the workshop focused on hands-on activities in news reporting and radio commentary, allowing participants to practice proper delivery, articulation, voice modulation, and presentation techniques used in actual broadcast settings.
The students also experienced working as radio DJs and program hosts. Exercises included introducing songs and simulating conversations with callers, where participants practiced sustaining natural on-air conversations through follow-up questions, spontaneous responses, and smooth transitions between topics.
Participants were also introduced to commercial voice-over, performing sample scripts for different products and learning how vocal delivery can be adjusted for advertising and other forms of media production.
FPS Media PH, which provides multimedia and broadcast training to Salin-Lente members, conducted the workshop as part of the students’ continuing hands-on media education. The training aims to expose young participants to practical workflows and techniques used in radio, audio, and multimedia production.
The next training session will focus further on voice-over techniques and the fundamentals of dubbing, giving the students additional opportunities to develop their vocal performance and audio production skills.
