New Salin Lente Members Undergo Journalism Training

PULILAN, Bulacan — New members of Salin Lente: Pulilan Film Society underwent journalism training during a Multimedia Training held on September 5 at Pavilion II, AIC Headquarters in Barangay Sto. Cristo, Pulilan.

The training introduced participants to different forms of journalistic writing, focusing on how the structure, style, and presentation of a story should be adapted according to its purpose and category.

Participants included students from Sta. Peregrina High School, Bajet-Castillo High School, Engr. Virgilio V. Dionisio Memorial High School, Academia de Pulilan, National University Baliwag, and Bulacan State University–Malolos.

The media training was made possible through a collaboration between Atty. Imee Cruz, who provided the participants’ transportation, food, and venue, and local media production house FPS Media PH, which conducted the training.

The activity forms part of Salin Lente’s continuing multimedia training program, which aims to equip young members with practical knowledge and skills in journalism and media production.

Through the program, the organization seeks to prepare its new members for future media projects while strengthening their ability to communicate stories responsibly and effectively.
