Held on December 13, 2024, the event marked an important step toward providing improved and accessible medical care for the community.

The ceremony was led by Rev. Father Avelino Sampana, who blessed the new hospital building, symbolizing hope and progress for better healthcare delivery. This project was made possible through the collaboration of Congresswoman Lorna Silverio, Governor Daniel Fernando, and Vice Governor Alex Castro, reflecting their dedication to enhancing health services in the district.
Key figures who joined the celebration to show their support included Bokal RC Castro (represented by former Bokal Nono Castro), Mayor Roderick Tiongson, Councilor Richie Dela Cruz, Councilor Jhong Reyes, ABC Aries Pengson, Barangay Captain Frederick Yambot of Brgy. Sta Rita Matanda, DPWH District Engineer Edgardo Pingol, and medical professionals Dra. Arlan Galicia, Dra. Hjordis Celis, Dra. Cynthia Basco, and Dra. Emily Paulino. Also present were barangay captains, BHWs (Barangay Health Workers), San Miguel District Hospital employees, and barangay volunteers, who all contributed to the success of the event.

The FPS Media PH team provided comprehensive coverage of the blessing and opening, ensuring that every important moment—from the ceremony to the ribbon-cutting and facility tour—was well documented. They also produced a highlight video of the event, featuring interviews with key people and other attendees who shared their gratitude and insights about the significance of the new hospital building.
The highlight video was posted on Kuya Vic Silverio’s official Facebook page, offering the public a closer look at this meaningful occasion and the continued efforts to bring quality healthcare closer to the people of the 3rd District.
