TOYCON PH 2025 Day 1 Delivers Pop Culture Thrills, Live Performances, and Collector Highlights

TOYCON PH 2025: Pop Life Festival officially opened at the SMX Convention Center, welcoming fans to a weekend of celebration, creativity, and community. With over 400 booths featuring toys, collectibles, comics, games, and pop culture merchandise, the event offered something exciting for every kind of enthusiast.

The day’s energy was elevated by the ToyConcert, which featured engaging performances from STARMARIE, SAYA, YARA, MIURA AYME feat. MIKO, ZIGA, and WANMINI. Their vibrant sets brought energy to the main stage and drew cheers from fans both at the venue and online.

Attendees also enjoyed a full lineup of panels and segments, including the RLUX Customs Panel, the Great Toys Online Segment, and collector-centered events like the Gashapon Panel and the launch of OMO Collectibles' Mr. Bones. One segment, the Superman Panel, featured a trailer screening that delighted comic book fans.

Retro gamers were treated to the ROG x TOYCON Kompyuteran Retro Games Tournament Finals, where StarCraft took center stage in an exciting match that brought nostalgia and competition together.

The evening culminated in the ThrillJoy Fiesta Manila, which featured a heartfelt live performance from Jed Madela, closing out Day 1 with music and celebration.
