A Successful Hybrid Seminar
QUEZON CITY – GOALS Therapy Center, in collaboration with the Philippine Mental Health Association (PMHA), successfully organized a hybrid seminar titled “Introduction to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)” on July 7, 2025. This event took place at the PMHA headquarters in Quezon City. Nearly 300 participants joined via Zoom from across the country, including psychology professionals and mental health advocates.
The program commenced with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. Following this, Ms. Marielle Urbano led an opening prayer. Dr. Christopher Juan, Co-Founder and Board Director of GOALS Therapy Center, then delivered the welcoming remarks. He formally introduced the guest lecturer, Dr. Monica O’Kelly. Dr. O’Kelly is the Director of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Australia and the Australian Institute for Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy.
