A Step Closer to Completion

October 23, 2025 – Metro Manila — FPS Media PH’s much-anticipated 8-page full-color comic for the Enhanced Community Mortgage Program (ECMP) is now one step closer to completion. Prototype copies are currently under review for final proofing.

The comic was developed in partnership with the Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC). Under the leadership of President and CEO Federico Laxa, and backed by the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), headed by Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling, this comic serves as a core communication tool for the Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) program. This initiative is a key part of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s Bagong Pilipinas vision.

The Creative Process

Following weeks of digital sketching, character rendering, and story development, the full-color, A5-sized comic printed on 120 gsm glossy paper has reached its prototype stage. Copies have been submitted to SHFC for final approval.

“The prototype captures both the spirit and substance of the ECMP. We’re proud of how the visuals bring the story to life,” said a representative from FPS Media PH.

Printing and Distribution

Once the draft is officially approved, printing of all 1,000 copies will commence immediately. The production team is expected to complete the entire print run within 10 days.

The comic aims to demystify the ECMP process through engaging storytelling and visuals. It portrays real-world scenarios and characters that reflect the aspirations of low-income Filipino families seeking affordable housing solutions.

Targeted Distribution

Distribution will focus on key communities, local government units (LGUs), and stakeholders involved in socialized housing efforts. There is also potential for expansion into digital formats to broaden accessibility.
